With the rapid development of science and technology and the explosive growth of population,the problem of environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious.One of the effective ways to control environmental pollution,especially water pollution,people need the green sustainable energy's help.The photocatalytic degradation technology through solar energy is an emerging and promising technology,and is suitable for the treatment of organic matter can't be degraded or own low degradation efficiency through physical adsorption,chemical oxidation and other traditional methods.TiO2,ZnO,Cu2O,CdS,WO3,Fe2O3 and other semiconductor materials can be used directly in the field of photocatalysis because of their direct use of sunlight and their respective advantages.When the photon energy is more than one of semiconductor materials' band gap,some electrons in the valence band excitate into the conduction band,and become photogenerated electrons.The valence band loses electrons,form photogenerated holes.As a strong oxidant,the hydroxyl radical is the most important photocatalyst in the photocatalytic reaction.Cu2O as a p-type semiconductor material,the band width is about 2.17eV.it is one of the few visible light excitation semiconductor materials.Cu2O can directly degrade organic pollutants under visible light irradiation.To solve the problem of environmental pollution,Cu2O has very good application prospect and the high value of scientific research.In order to improve the photocatalytic activity and stability of Cu2O,it is possible to prepare Cu2O based composites.At first through the hydrothermal synthesis of Cu2O particles,CuO particles can be formed on the particle surface without adding other substances circumstances.Then the Cu2O-CuO composite can be formed.The Cu2O-CuO/Pt composite particles can be obtained by adding Cisplatin Injection in high temperature oxidation experiments.The composite particles increase the protective layer and the introduction of metal/semiconductor Schottky Junction and the composite particles can be prepared by the economic benefits.Through the experimental investigation,the Cu2O-CuO composite particles have better photocatalytic activity and stability.Although the specific surface area of the particles is large,the particles are difficult to recover.Preparation of Cu2O films in experiment is prepared on pure ITO conductive glass by electrochemical deposition method,through the comparison of photocatalytic properties of Cu2O particles,the advantages of their photocatalytic respective activities can be analyzed.
