Recently,graphene-based two-dimensional nanostructured materials have received considerable attention in sensors, catalysis, optical and electrical devices owing to their versatile properties including large specific surface area, adjustable band gap, remarkble physical and electronic properties.Due to the unique bandgap structure and electronic structure,an increasing attention has also been fixed on using Mo S2 in the field of photoelectrochemistry. The pristine graphene, which is limited by less defects and high cost,is difficult to satisfy the requirement in modern application. Thus the ways to extend the scope of application is doping and loading, after which, these materials can be used.In the chapter 1,ultrathin Mo S2 nanosheets with narrow band gap were successfully prepared via a facile thermolytical approach assisted by the C3N4 sacrificial template. The microstructure and morphology of the as-prepared nanosheets were investigated in detail by using various physical characterization techniques. The 3D porous framework of ultrathin Mo S2 nanosheets reveals a large surface area and a uniform porous distribution.Upon immobilizing glucose oxidase on its surface,it is conducive to the enzyme adsorption and benefits to high reactivity and selectivity for glucose recognition. The porous feature shortens the electronic diffuse distance between the ITO substrate and the redox centers, leading to facile electron transfer within the sensor. In the chapter 2,small Fe3C nanoparticles entrapped within 3D porous NGr network were exploited for the first time as a mimetic peroxidase. The resulting Fe3C/NGr is found to possess intrinsic peroxidase-like activity, producing a remarkable color change in aqueous solutions upon catalyzing the oxidation of 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine?TMB?by H2O2.Furthermore,based on the intrinsic peroxidase-like activity of Fe3C/NGr,colorimetric assay of glucose with high selectivity and sensitivity was simply performed by using an indirect means.
