Fluoropolymers have some special properties compared with other polymers,such as excellent thermal and chemical stability,good mechanical performance,strong oxidation resistance and anti aging performance,low flammability and unique chemical surface properties,thus,the fluoropolymers have an irreplaceable role in the field of national defense,high-performance materials etc.In this thesis,a series of fluorostyrene type compounds were synthesized.As 4-bromophenol,phenylboronic acid,4-boronobenzoic acid and 1-bromo-1,2,2-trifluoroethene were used as starting materials,1-?1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?-4-??1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?oxy?benzene,?1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?benzene and ethyl 4-?1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?benzoate were obtained respectively.The structures of these compounds were characterized and confirmed by 1H NMR,19F NMR and FT-IR spectra.A series of polymers were prepared by the method of emulsion polymerization.Polymer C1 was prepared by using ?,?,?-trifluorostyere as the monomer through two different emulsion polymerization methods.Polymer C2 was obtained by using ethyl 4-?1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?benzoate as the monomer.Polymer C3 was prepared by using ?,?,?-trifluorostyere and ethyl 4-?1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?benzoate as monomer.Polymer C4 was provided by using ?,?,?-trifluorostyere and 1-?1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?-4-??1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?oxy?benzene as the monomers.Polymer C5 was obtained by co-polymerization of ?,?,?-trifluorostyere with ethyl 4-?1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?benzoate and 1-?1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?-4-??1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?oxy?benzene.Ethyl 4-?1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?benzoate and 1-?1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?-4-??1,2,2-trifluorovinyl?oxy?-benzene were polymerized to give co-polymer C8.The structures of these polymers were characterized by 1H NMR,19F NMR and FT-IR spectra.The thermogravimetric analysis of the polymers showed that the temperature of 5% and 10% mass loss were about 323 to 344 ? and 337 to 337 ? respectively.This indicated that these polymers based on trifluorostyere were highly thermal stable materials.Polymers C2 and C3 were hydrolyzed to give C6 and C7 with carboxylic acid group.The rate of proton conductivity of the membrances formed by C6 and C7 were measured respectively at 20 100 ?,the rate of C6 were in the range of 1.22 2.64×10-3 S/cm and 1.96 2.66×10-3 S/cm for C7 respectivedly.In addition,the membrances of C6 and C7 had desirable chemical stability,the residual mass could be kept over 99% after dipping into Feton 's reagent?room temperature?for 1 h and 2 h and their fragmentation time was over 24 h.The structures of C6 and C7 were characterized and confirmed by 1H NMR,19F NMR and FT–IR spectra.
