Design And Experimental Study On The Pump Of Sulfur Liquid

Sulfur liquid pump is the petrochemical industry application process equipment.The requirements of the pump insulation structure is very high because the liquid sulfur can only be transported between 135-145?.The special structure of the liquid sulfur pump also leads to poor performance and large vibration during the use.In view of the problem of the liquid sulfur transport process,the design of the liquid pump is needed,and the design scheme is tested in order to reduce the risk of the problem and reduce the cost.In this paper,the design parameters are determined according to the site conditions,and a set of sulfur liquid pump is designed.In this paper,the velocity coefficient method is used to design the hydraulic design of the flow components,and the advanced computational fluid dynamics software CFX is used to test the design flow components.According to the design requirements,determined the main parameters of the flow components,obtained the flow components of main dimensions,3D modeling with the software of Pro / E,then used ICEM CFD software to mesh the model,used of advanced hydraulic simulation software CFX simulation calculation which provided the basis for the later analysis.In order to ensure the stability of pump structure,the insulation structure of pump was designed,and the strength of the shaft was checked.In addition,the rotor dynamic analysis was carried out and obtained the natural frequencies and validated the design reliable,to achieve the purpose of preventing in the actual use of the process failure.At the same time analysed the different bearing support and gotten the different vibration.The experimental study on the liquid pump,the reliability of the simulation,the performance curve and the vibration of the pump were obtained.The experimental results show that the method to design sulfur liquid pump is available.
