Studies On Properties Of 3-long Chain Alkoxy-2-hydroxypropyl Triethyl Ammonium Chloride

Fatty alcohol ether quaternary ammonium salt has many advantages such as no pollution,chemical stability,good thermal stability,biodegradable completely,simple production process,low energy consumption,high yield and the production raw material comes from renewable resource-fatty alcohol.it has performances as follows:good phase transfer catalysis,softness,foam,bacteriostasis,emulsification etc.The production can be applied to oilfield,daily chemical industry,medical industry etc.It has wide application values and development prospects.This paper synthesized 3-long chain alkoxy-2-hydroxypropyl triethyl ammonium chloride(C12?C18).Its critical micelle concentration(cmc)and Surface Tension(?cmc)were determined under laboratory conditions,The results showed that its surface activity is better than long chain alkyl quaternary ammonium salt.The experiment studied the adsorption law of this production on the surface of Daqing oil sand,and investigated liquid-solid ratio,adsorption time and concentration,alkyl chain have influence on static adsorption capacity.On the surface of Daqing oil sand when 3-tetradecoxy-2-hydroxylpropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride reached statically saturated adsorption,its liquid-solid ratio was 20:1;concentration was 1.84mmol/L;adsorption time was 6h;adsorption isotherm was SCurve;saturated adsorption was 13.21×10-6mol/g.What's more,antiswelling property,corrosion inhibition and emulsification property of 3-long chain alkoxy-2-hydroxypropyl triethyl ammonium chloride(C12-C18)were studied.The experimental results are as follows:1.The temperature was 45?,the amount of four kinds of quaternary ammonium salt was 2%,the rate of anti-swelling was all more than 90%.And antiswelling ability of the quaternary ammonium salt was stronger than that of KCl,the rate of anti-swelling of Surfactant DPAC reached 92.7%;In lower concentration,after remixed with KCl,its effect was better than the single product.The fatty alcohol ether quaternary ammonium salt of this series had favorable ability of prohibiting clay hydration and swelling,the effect of anti-swelling was very good,the washable experiment explained its effect of anti-swelling was stable and lasting.2.The temperature was 45?,the inhibition efficiency of TPAC,DPAC,OPAC all reached 90.0%with 10%hydrochloric acid solution,They had good corrosion inhibition property for steel sheet.3.When the concentration was 300mg/L,the water separation of DPAC?TP AC?HP AC?OPAC reached 25%that the time was 18d,40d,52d and 22d.The fatty alcohol ether quaternary ammonium salt of this series had a high emulsification for crude oil.
