Processing industry for Aluminum profile is developing rapidly in China in recent years, and the application of aluminum profile has expanded from the construction industry to cars, ships, electricity, aerospace and the other fields, and the production of aluminum profile is also rising to the world first.Aluminum has the advantage of light quality, corrosion resistance and high intensity in physical and chemical properties, and in some cases can be used instead of steel as a structural material, can promote and build the modern society of green, energy-saving, environmental protection.However, at present the production technology of many aluminum processing enterprises is still backward, and product quality can't meet the current social development's higher requirements;And the design of aluminium profile extrusion die is still lack of a systematic and complete theoretical system, and the design needs to rely on practical experience of the engineers, and need to be tested in the production repeatedly.Therefore, the research of extrusion forming law for aluminum profile, and the technology and die design is of great significance to improve the quality of aluminum alloy products, shorten the development cycle and reduce the enterprise cost.Take a complex thin-walled hollow profiled aluminum as an example, and determined the applicable type of extrusion die by analyzed the characteristics of the cross section shape, size, and completed the structure design and 3D modeling of mould that can through the strength check. The steady extrusion process is simulated Using HyperXtrude professional extrusion simulation software, obtained the stress and displacement distribution of extrusion die form which the load and deformation law of extrusion die in the extrusion process can be revealed, and to reduce the die load and the elastic deformation, the orthogonal experiment was designed, and got the optimum technique parameters(the extrusion speed, billet preheating temperature, extrusion tube preheating temperature and mold temperature) in which situation the stress and strain of the extrusion die is best.Described the mechanism of deformation of metal in the process of extrusion according to temperature, stress and strain distribution of metal flow, speed and deformation distribution of profile and applied it to the improvement on the design of the mould, and improved the die structure and uniformed the velocity of profile section by adding a stop block and adjusting bearing.The extrusion die is classified into five kinds of structure characteristics based on the structural feature of it, and extruding die design dialog was developed by using UG/Open UIStyler editor according to the idea of bottom-up modeling; Recorded the modeling process by using NXOpen, and it wes edited to realize the interactive design for extruding mould; designed the drop-down menu especially for the extrusion die using UG/Open Menuscript, and that combined mould CAD system with NX.In addition, a modeling example to verify the system feasible.
