Heavy metal wastewater is difficult to natural degradation,especially the wastewater containing low concentration of heavy metals and organic pollutants.The common flocculant deal with this kind of wastewater is difficult.To study a composite flocculant has important theoretical significance and potential practical value with the flocculant has environmental protection,economic,high floc settling separation speed and could efficient trapping of heavy metal and organic flocculation.Macromolecule flocculant thiol acetyl polyethylene was synthesized with polyethyleneimine,thioglycolic acid as raw materials.Magnesium copper zinc ferrite of low sintering temperature and high saturation magnetic induction intensity was prepared by chemical precipitation method.The sodium carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC) was assembled onto the surface of magnesium copper zinc ferrite.MAPEI was crossed-linking to ferrite by glutaraldehyde after assemblied.A novel polymeric composite flocculant containing carbonyl,amino,sulfhydryl and high magnetic properties(Ferrite-CMC-MAPEI) was prepared.The removal properties and process conditions of heavy metal ions in tailings wastewater were explored.The results showed that the amphoteric polymeric flocculant(MAPEI) containing sulfur carbonyl and amino, sulfhydryl has chelating stable performance,short reaction time and affected little by the p H.The MAPEI has high removal rate of Cu2+, Cd2+and other heavy metal.Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+ took little change on the flocculation effect. The ferrite magnetic properties of polymer composite flocculant(Ferrite-CMC-MAPEI)change little after composited.The Ferrite-CMC-MAPEI has a good removal rate of Cu2+, Pb2+, Cd2+, Cr6+ in wastewater. The composite flocculant flocculation floc residueafter treatment has good stability and could be efficiently magnetic separation, The heavy metal ions of flocculation floc residue was difficult to dissolve into water and could be effectively recoveried by acid.The magnetic separation of composite flocculant was more quickiy and more effective than static separation.The polymer composite flocculant(Ferrite-CMC-MAPEI) with thiol,carbonyl,amino has good flocculating effect of different organic compounds and heavy metals.Flocculant of amino, carboxyl oxygen radicals has good chelating and flocculation effect with the help of magnetic ferrite.The composite flocculant could effectively treat wastewater of low concentration heavy metal and organic compound pollution.The composite flocculant has broad application prospects in the treatment of heavy metals wastewater and other low concentration complex sewage.
