For the bad production conditions, intense labors and a series of natural disasters, coal mine accidents have caused many workers die or hurt, at the moment bring great trouble to our country. On the recent years, the country has developed some policy to regulate small coal mine and applicated many large automation machinery, so the number of death have decreased significantly, however, the number is not low enough.Ergonomics is a system enginerring which contact “human-machine-environment”, and can reduce errors and damages, at the same time improve the security and the efficiency. Many study have found that more than 70%~80% of the accidents were caused by humans, therefore, studying humans' safety quality, and selecting the suitable employees for the specific position, then making the worker and machine live in harmony, finally ensuring the safety production of coal mine, which has great significance.In this paper, we base on the related rules and use BP neural network state a security professional adaptability model for four special type of workers in coal mine. First of all, we compare literatures about that and analysis their work situations, then we choose 8 related ability quality and 6 physical quality as indexes. Secondly, we choose 6 ability indexes by Delphi method and 70% physiological index. Finally, we use the BP neural network, and through the MATLAB software, setting up the selection model for each type of work, and using SPSS statistical tool test the validity of the model.In this paper, we discuss by six chapters. The first chapter is introduction, including background and basis of the paper, goal and significance, research status, research contents, technical route and method. The second chapter is the theoretical basis and the definition of related concepts. The third chapter is core chapter. Firstly, making a preliminary determination for the physiology, psychology and ability. Secondly, determining the test indexes by Delphi method, finally, testing the indexes. The fourth chapter establish model using BP neural network by MATLAB software, the workers including coal mine machine drivers, downhole electric fitter, lord ascension drivers and gas inspection worker. The fifth chapter is test the model in the previous chapter, selecting 40 workers of each type of work to do the same test, and take the result into the model, then use statistics tool to analysis the correlation of the predict group and the test group. The sixth chapter is the summary of the full text, we correspond the conclusion through the model establishment and verify.
