Oil pipeline and its outer shell which is called casing play an important role in oil exploration.However,due to the unfavorable working environment and overdue service life,it is prone to damage phenomenon such as corrosion,crack,perforation,which could cause economic losses and serious ecological problems.Therefore,the research and development of pipeline defect inspection have great significance not only for the protection of pipeline but also in the prevention of economic losses.Multi-frequency Eddy Current Pipeline Inspection Tool is based on multi-frequency eddy current theory(MFEC)which can obtain more abundant pipe information than the traditional single frequency eddy current inspection method.“The research project “The Data Processing and The Imaging Software Design Of Multi-frequency Eddy Current Pipeline Inspection Tool” aims at processing the acquisition data and developing corresponding pipeline imaging software which aids field engineers to observe the testing results and analyze the pipeline damage clearly.Based on the significance and the present research situation of the object,the thesis firstly explains the basis theory,which mainly includes the Remote Field Eddy Current(RFEC)and the Near Field Eddy Current(NFEC)pipeline inspection theory,and then describes the structure and composition of the pipeline MFEC inspection tool in details.Secondly,the finite element simulation software(ANSYS)is used to simulate the whole inspection process,and the RFEC/NFEC theories are verified by the simulation results.Meanwhile,the database used for obtaining pipeline parameters is established.Velocity effect during the inspection process is also simulated and analyzed in this part.In the next part,the LS-SVR algorithm is used to obtain the pipeline parameters(internal diameter,permeability).As for the RFEC inspection,the raw data must be pre-processed such as denoising,interpolation,and removal of the ghost signals.And then post-processing data are used for pipeline damage evaluation which includes two application scenarios: single pipeline and the joint pipe.The final part of the thesis is focus on the design and realization of the pipeline imaging software based on the MFC and OpenGL software tools.With the help of the above softwares,pipeline defects and parameters can be displayed by 2D or 3D images.
