The airflow jet loom weft insertion system is the core part of air-jet loom and the quality of weft insertion has an important influence on the quality of fabric.Having not enough professional data guidance in the production practice,the workers of the textile enterprises cannot set the reasonable weft insertion process parameters according to the varieties of yarn in the process of parameter settings,leading to such problem as loom stop,wefts broken and the low utilization rate of the airflow of main nozzle and auxiliary nozzle.The parameter optimization of the weft insertion process reduces the peak value of yarn weft tension,making the yarn pass through the shed under the stable tension value,improving the utilization rate of jet stream,realizing the energy saving.This article is mainly about the building of air-jet loom comprehensive performance test system and the parameter optimization of weft insertion process,and the research contents and conclusion of this paper have a certain guiding significance to the production practice of the enterprise,the parameter optimization of weft insertion process has a certain reference value.This paper has set up a comprehensive performance test system of air-jet loom,realizing the test of the reed groove pressure and weft tension.Based on LabVIEW,the software part of test system was written for the reed groove air pressure test procedures and weft tension test procedures.And the hardware was composed of reed groove pressure testing subsystem,weft tension test subsystem and data acquisition card etc.The sample yarn was used to test the air-jet loom comprehensive performance test system.Use the reed groove pressure test subsystem to test the air pressure of the reed groove,the reed groove airflow was remitted correctly and the auxiliary nozzle were installed consistently.Making use of weft tension test subsystem to test the weft tension,the change of the yarn tension was accurately analyzed in the process of weft insertion.Through the experiment,the feasibility of the test system was verified.In order to optimize the parameters of air-jet loom weft insertion process,this paper choose the most important influence five factors of the weft insertion process:auxiliary nozzle height,auxiliary nozzle angle,main nozzle jet end angle,auxiliary nozzle jet end angle,different pressure of the main nozzle and auxiliary nozzle.For specific varieties of yarn,using L16(45)orthogonal test table type five factors and four levels orthogonal test,the settings of weft insertion process parameters was adjusted according to the sequence number.Firstly,the reed groove pressure was tested to ensure the reed groove airflow remitted correctly,and then the yarn tension was tested.The test gets the weft yarn tension curve at 16 different parameters and the mean value of tension peaks.The data was analyzed intuitively through orthogonal test table and the optimal parameter combination was got through using the minimum weft tension peak corresponding weft insertion process parameters as the optimal throttle process parameters.And through extreme value analysis,the impact of various factors on the weft tension was analyzed.10 different kinds of yarn are selected for the above optimization experiment research,obtaining 10 varieties of yarn the best weft insertion parameters combination.Analysis shows that different yarn has different optimal weft insertion parameters,and the influence of various factors on different yarn weft tension is also different.
