In recent years,co-crystals have attracted considerable interest due to their potential to improve physicochemical properties. In drug research field,APIs co-crystals provide a potential way to improve the properties of existing drugs. Moreover,it has been proven that co-crystals can be used for designing functional materials with improved properties of optically activity, thermochromism, photochromism, photoluminescence and so on.In this paper,we screened a series of cocrystal salts by liquid assisted grinding and traditional solution methods. Moreover,we explored their crystal structures, form transformation, thermal properties and optical properties,as well as the effect of supramolecule structures on solid state thermochromism properties. The details are as follows:(1)Liquid-assisted grinding of SA and B gave rise to two stoichiometric hydrated cocrystals in 1:1 and 1:2 ratios, respectively.Upon heating, produced their dehydration forms. All structural properties have been determined from XRD.The mechanochemical interconversion process between different stoichiometric forms were investigated by PXRD and TGA.(2)Screening salts of SA and THAM and their dehydration process was investigated by and Powder X-ray Diffraction.Hydrated solid salt of THAM and SA has undergones dehydration process upon heating, transformed to a microcrystalline powder of an anhydrous product phase. The structure of the anhydrous phase have been determined directly from powder X-ray diffraction data, allowing rationalization of the structural changes associated with the dehydration process.(3)Screening a series of salts of SA and DDM and thermochromism has been studied. The 1D channel structural properties of the salts have been determined by single crystal XRD and NMR tests. The multicomponent salts exhibited the visual properties of thermochromism.
