Oxindole derivatives are privileged structure motifs due to their prominent biological or medicinal activities.Therefore,the development of highly efficient synthesis of oxindoles have aroused wide interests among organic chemists.Transition-metal-catalyzed and directing-group assisted C-H functionalization reactions have displayed significant properties of chemo-or regio-selectivity,atom and reaction-step economy.We herein develope a 2-indole C-H activation reaction,utilizing indole enamines as the starting materials and the intramolecular amino group as the directing group,to achieve highly selective synthesis of oxindole derivatives.On the other hand,recently,the development of chemosensors for sulfur-containing amino acids has attracted great attention,because of its' biological importance.Base on the properties of self-assembly and rich fluorescence,we achieve the recognition of sulfur-containing amino acids via pincer platinum compounds.The first chapter introduces the recent progress in the synthesis of valuable oxindoles.Methods that based on Pd,Cu and the other metal catalysts are summarized in the preparation of oxindole derivatives.At the same time,the developments of thiol fluorescent probes are reviewed.Recent progress are classified according to their reaction mechanisms,which including Michael additions,cyclization with aldehydes,disulfide exchange reactions,metal complex-displace coordinations,and so on.The second chapter discloses an efficient and regio-selective synthesis of 3-vinyl-2-oxindolederivatives,through a Ir~?-catalyzed C-H oxidation reaction condition.Cumyl hydroperoxideare found to be a good oxidant to selectively oxidize the indole-2 C-H bond.A plausible mechanism is proposed based on previliminary mechanistic studies.The third chapter studies the selective recognition ability of sulfur-containing amino acids,viatheir agglomeration property of the pincer-like Pt complexes.A series of novel structure pincer-like Pt complexes are synthesized and well characterized.
