Proved reserve of TD reservoir has been submitted in 2006,and four exploratory wells have been finished drilling by now.Well testing indicates that average oil production is 2.6t/d,which shows developing potential.However,according to the drilling and well tests,the reservoir was unstable,fluid varied quickly and oil-water distribution was complex.Thus,well-seismic integration has been carried out to predict reservoir.Then distributions of sand body and oil and water have been found out.Therefore,the favorable well spacing region has been chosen and appropriate development has been decided,which provides a foundation for preparing the development program.The reservoir bed of PuTaohua reservoir in the region of interest was thin and superposed vertically.Most of sand bodies were not continuous horizontally and the reservoir bed of P1 formation was characteristic of thin in the north and the east and thick in the south and west.The thick sand body abounded in the south and Midwest of the region of interest,which was banded and stretched longitudinally while the thin sand body abounded in the north.The oil-water distribution of PuTaohua reservoir was that oil was above while water was below mostly.Sandstone and mudstone have been interbedded frequently,which resulted in many oil-water systems.The oil-water distribution has been affected by structural situation,fault blockage and distribution of sand body and so on.Sand body was the basis of reservoir,and pinchout sand had a big effect on the horizontal distribution of oil-water.Faults cut the reservoir into many blocks and each block differed in oil-water distribution from other blocks.Three favorable well spacing regions have been chosen whose total area was as big as 13.2km2.According to seismic attribute and inversion data of reservoir,the sand body of PuTaohua reservoir was thin and not continuous.It's a big risk to exploit it with horizontal well,so vertical well has been adopted instead.
