Yttrium hydrogenated rosinate(YHR),Yttrium acrylpimarat(YAA)and Yttrium fumaropimarat(YFPA)were synthesized respectively using hydrogenated rosin(HR),acrylpimaric acid(AA),fumaropimaric acid(FPA)and yttrium acetate as raw materials.The effect of different conditions on the content of yttrium in the YHR/YAA/YFPA was determined The characterization and analysis of YFPA/YHR/YAA’s structure by fourier transform infra-red spectrometer(FT-IR),scanning electron microscope(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis(EDAX)and X-ray diffraction(XRD)were done.The results showed that the content of yttrium in YFPA was 17.03%,close to the theoretical value,when the molar ratio of FPA and Y(AC)3 was 1:2,and the reaction time had no effect on the content of yttrium.The product is amorphous state compound by the coordinate bond of COO-and Y3+.Compared with the three raw materials,YFPA/YHR/YAA provided good heat stability.The effect of YFPA/YHR/YAA on polyvinyl chloride(PVC)thermal stability is researched with Congo red method and toast with heat method.Experimental results showed that YFPA is a good long-term PVC thermal stabilizer and it had greatly improved on PVC thermal stability and the stability time was as long as 21 minutes.The thermal stability of PVC was positive proportional to the concentration of yttrium content.At the same time,this paper got Calcium(Zinc)hydrogenated rosinate Ca(Zn)HR,Calcium(Zinc)acrylpimarat Ca(Zn)AA and Calcium(Zinc)fumaropimarat Ca(Zn)FPA by the reaction of HR/AA/FPA which were alkalization first and CaCl2(ZnCl2).The structure and heat-resistant of the products were charactered and the influences of the products on the thermal stability of PVC were studied.The results showed that the molecules of six reaction products were formed between metal-ion and carboxylate anion by iconicity union.CaHR and Zn HR were crystallization structure and the others were all amorphous.The results of thermal-gravimetric analysis showed that they all had better heat resistingproperty than raw materials.The experiments of Congo red and heating method showed that CaHR and ZnAA exhibited good thermal stability for PVC compared with CaSt2 and ZnSt2 which were marketed heat stabilizers(the stability time of Ca HR and ZnAA were 19 minutes and 12 minutes respectively).This paper also studied the influences of the stabilizer blends of YFPA/CaHR/Zn AA/Pe on the thermal stability for PVC.Investigation results showed that the complex of CaHR and ZnAA had cooperative effect.PVC films exhibited excellent initial coloring and remarkably improved long thermal stability of PVC when YFPA/CaHR/ZnAA/Pe were added in a certain proportion(the best proportion was 1:1.5:1:0.5).
