The control system of automatic punching is chosen as the object of this paper.The punching path reconstruction algorithm based on NURBS curve is presented to realize the machine teaching function of patterns.The leather surface punching technology requirements is researched,and a tool system with separated header and holder is designed.A hardware layout of the machine is designed,the HMI is coded with Visual C++ 6.0,finally the equipment is tested and in good condition.Firstly,with NURBS curve,the impact of knot sequence on the NURBS curve shape is discussed,and then the NURBS curve punching path reconstruction algorithm is studied to realize the machine teaching function.Secondly,according to the leather surface punching technology,the overall working process of equipment is confirmed.Considering the diversity of hole shapes and convenience of tool changing,a tool system with separated header and holder is designed with a parametric design method.Then,according to the designed process for leather surface punching,a hardware platform is established.The motion controller and the servo system is selected.Moreover,the EMI filters are utilized to improve the reliability of the control system.The HMI(human-machine interface)of the control system is coded with VC ++ 6.0.An experimental study has been carried out to validate the proposed control system.
