According to the application cases of GW-LWD,Downhole turbine alternator is mainly optimal designed from 2 aspects.First,speed control of turbine alternator is given to research and analyzing facts that related to speed to give summary of controlling project which is suitable for turbine alternator speed.Mechanical structure is improved by rig-site experimental data,analysis for alternator's operational problems,changing the radian of impeller and the structure of impeller and flow tube,changing flow area and impeller's dip angle of the fluid director.Summary for data analyzing and comparison to performance of unimproved alternator is done by downhole experiment repeatedly provided.Then optimizing for downhole turbine alternator is achieved.Second,it is aimed at vital importance that hydraulic performance of the impeller which turbine alternator can be reached.The hydraulic performance of the downhole turbine generator is important.In order to improve the hydraulic performance of the downhole turbine generator,using the finite element method,Ansys Workbench-CFX numerical analysis,to model,mesh,and compute,then pointing out the flaws of existing designs and making suggestions for deep improvement.The results show that the lower of the inlet and outlet angle is,the higher of the conversion rate of the fluid kinetic energy is.But we need to increase the angles approriately to avoid cavitation.And doing a series of indoor experiments to verify the hydraulic performance of the improved turbine.
