Coalbedgas is also named as coal seam gas and coalbed methane,which is one kind of new,clean and high efficiency energy resource.Currently,there are a lot of bottlenecks in the exploitation of coalbed gas and other deficient gas reservoirs.And the key to realize its industrial development is to figure out how to improve the fluidity efficiency.It has been proved b y practices carried abroad that hole reaming has acquired extraordinary consequence in many aspects,such as protecting the reservoir,improving the fluidity efficiency and assisting the sequent operations.So,for the purpose of constantly improving the exploitation efficiency of deficient gas reservoirs and coalbed gas,researching and developing reaming tools with big diameter and reaming technology in open hole have been the crucial point during the exploitation of coalbed gas and other deficient gas reservoirs.Successful barefoot completion increases the exposed area of coal seam and raises the reservoir fluidity efficiency during the process of injecting high pressure fluid and decompression,acquiring the goal ofincreasing production.The existing tools have many defects,such as low efficiency,small diameter and illogical structure.Besides,there are so me technologic limitations from delivery capacity and pump pressure,and these tools can not satisfy the demand of building full diameter hole in coal seam.Based on these defects,this paper carried out a study on reaming in coalbed gas hole which has a great meaning in improving drilling technology and heightening competitive power in market.
