Research On The Design Of Children's Furniture Based On The Safety Of Materials And Fittings

Based on the safety of children's furniture,from the perspective of materials and fittings,combined with the actual case of children's furniture,security incidents and other cases,this paper analyzes the applied materials of children's furniture,hardware fittings,adhesives and coatings which are insecurity factors hidden in children's furniture.The methods of literature search,induction and deduction,comparative analysis and other research methods are used to provide practical solutions and theoretical guidance for the safety problems in the product itself and in the course of use,which provides a reference for the safety of children's furniture design.First of all,this paper analyzes the current situation of the safety of children's furniture based on the physical and mental characteristics of children aged 3-6,its relationship with safety of children's furniture as well as its influence on children's furniture design are also studied.It also analyzes the existing issues in children's furniture materials and fittings by using safety rules and summarizes the theory of children's furniture design.Secondly,this paper describes the application and safety of solid wood,artificial wood board,plastic and other materials in the design of children's furniture,The types of adhesives and the hidden safety issues are analyzed.It does the comparison of safety performance between the solvent-based coatings and the water coatings and gains the processing method and improved strategy of materials in the safety design of children's furniture.Thirdly,from the safety's perspective,this paper studies the use of furniture fittings in children's furniture.The style of connection of the hardware,such as the handle,the connecting piece,the hinge and the slide rail is analyzed,combined with the factors in safety design such as the structural stability and corners of the children's furniture,it studies the safety of the use of joint fittings and board fittings in children's furniture.Last but not least,this paper conducts the design and application based on the safety of materials and fittings for children's furniture design.The design and application was carried out with the coordination of internal handle in the "smiling face cabinet" with solid performance;with the eccentric connector set in the adjustable "flip table" as well as the improved design of plate docking connector in the "long legs".
