As a frontier and cross-field of current supramolecular science,supramolecular self-assembly has been rapidly developed.The introduction of noncovalent interactions brings many excellent features into supramolecular self-assemblies,and the most distinguished one is endowing the polymers with dynamic reversible characteristics.The incorporation of AIE fluorophores into supramolecular polymers brings new vitality into fluorescent materials,the aggregation induced by polymerization at high concentration will promote the emission of AIE fluorophores,which giving supramolecular polymers with bright emission and good quantum yields.The "monopoly" of covalent bond in the synthesis chemistry was broken due to the development of functionalized supramolecular self-assemblies in the past 100 years(especially in the field of materials).In the first section,we designed and synthesized a monomer A which was a dibenzo-24-crown-8(DB24C8)unit in one side and a terpyridine in the other side,and a monomer B which possesses a TPE core decorated with four symmetric dibenzylammonium salts(DBAS).The fluorescent functionalized supramolecular polymer was constructed by the method of orthogonal self-assembly.At the same time,we also studied the multiple stimuli-responsiveness of this supramolecular polymer.In the second section,we designed and synthesized three rhomboidal metallacycles 1,2,3 which possess pendant crown ether units and display three different emission colors.When the blue-emissive linker 4 was added into the three rhomboidal metallacycles respectively,supramolecular oligomers and polymers are obtained which showed the nature of adjustable fluorescence with the change of concentration.The self-assembly of the orange-emissive metallacycle 1 with AIE properties and the blue-emissive linker 4 with ACQ properties show white-light emission at a concentration of 29 ?M.This work provides a new measure to construct the supramolecular assemblies with adjustable fluorescence properties.
