An Aesthetic Research On The Application Of Splash-dyeing Features And Patterns On Clothing Design

With the rapid development of China's economic,the standard of people' s living has been greatly improved that makes the traditional hand printing and dye art revived again.Traditional hand printing and dyeing as an ancient decorative means,not only condenses the wisdom of the working people,but it also inherits the long history of China' s civilization,is more dazzling bright with the changing times.Spattering dye which is studied on this paper,as a small branch of the development from the traditional manual printing to modern times,is a new form of hand drawn dyeing,gradually favored by consumers with its vivid dyed patterns that bears the imprint of originality and magnificent colors.On the basis of inheriting traditional printing and dyeing process,spattering dye melts into the modern printing and dyeing modelling art idea with the unique visual effects and aesthetic appeal that other manual printing and dyeing cannot achieve.Spattering dye becomes a stream of hand printing and dye art with its unique aesthetic impact,which completely interprets the deep cultural heritage of Chinese traditional painting art.This paper chooses the artistic characteristics and style pattern of spattering dye as the main clue,summarizing and supplementing the techniques skills for dye which is divided into resist-dyed,splash-dyed,and auxiliary-dyed,and expounding the artistic features of each technique.The effect of the artistic characteristics of spattering dye is proved by the experimental results of splashing on different fabrics.Based on it,summarizing and refining style pattern art form of spattering dye,analyzing the features and forms of patterns from shape,color,meaning and so on,probing into the visual aesthetic effect of splashing style and pattern in clothing,it analyzes the visual aesthetic difference in dress style and pattern caused by splash style.In order to enrich the research of the thesis,the last chapter presents the spattering dye of the scarf as a design,combining traditional process of tie-dyed,dip-dyed and hand-writing with spattering dye,and designing scarf pattern innovatively to show gorgeous beauty of spattering dye.
