Over the past 20 years,the metal-organic framework(MOFs),has attracted particular attention because of its wide range of potential applications in many fields,such as catalysis,luminescence,magnetic properties,sensing,molecular recognition,gas storage,selective adsorption,separation and so on,because it has characteristics of channel size control,easy surface functionalization,high specific surface area and stable skeleton structure.With the development of human society,environmental pollution has become an important factor affecting the development of many industries.In order to meet the requirements of environmental protection,it has become an important research subject to deal with dye waste water by using the characteristics of MOFs,such as porosity,large specific surface area and stable framework.In this paper,nine novel metal-organic coordination polymers were prepared by solvothermal method using Zn(?)as the metal central ion with ligand L1 or L2 of azo and carboxylic acid(L1=Pyridine-4-methyl-3-((4-(pyridine-4-methoxy)phenyl)azo)benzoate;L2=Pyridine-4-methyl-4-((4-(pyridine-4-methoxy)phenyl)azo)benzoate).They are named [Zn2L12(5-OH-BDC)2]n(1)(5-OH-H2BDC=5-hydroxyisophthalic acid),[ZnL1(5-CH3-BDC)]n(2)(5-CH3-H2BDC=5-methyl isophthalic acid),[ZnL1(5-NO2-BDC)]n(3),[ZnL(5-NO2-BDC)(H2O)]n(4),[ZnL(5-NO2-BDC)]n(5)(5-NO2-H2BDC= 5-nitroisophthalic acid),[ZnL(BDC)]n(6)(H2BDC)= Isophthalic acid),[ZnL2(5-CH3-BDC)]n(7)(5-CH3-BDC=5-methyl isophthalic acid),[ZnL2(5-CH3-BDC)]n(8)(5-CH3-BDC=5-methyl isophthalic acid),and [ZnL2(5-BDC)]n(9)(H2BDC=isophthalic acid),respectively.Their crystal structures were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),infrared(IR)and thermogravimetric analysis(TG).The effects of one MOFs [Zn2L2(5-OH-BDC)2]n(1)on the adsorption of dye were studied.The result showns that it The complexe 1selectively adsorbs toward to anionic dyes Congo red,acidic black 10 B,direct red80,methyl orange,orange ?,etc.
