Due to its unique three-dimensional structure, carbon fiber composite materials has high surface area which may benefits the load of catalysts and the exposure of catalytic active sites. In addition, carbon fiber composite materials also possess good electrical conductivity and have drawn great attention of researchers in the field of electric analysis and electric catalysis. In this work,we adopt simple and environmentally-friendly methods to synthesis 3D carbon fiber composite materials which loaded manganese-iron oxide and molybdenum-tungsten sulfide, respectively. The electrochemical properties and applications of composite materials was also researched in detail. The content of research includes the following two parts:1.A novel manganese-iron oxide embedded carbon fibers?Mn2O3-Fe2O3/CFs?has been successfully prepared through electrospinning and calcination.A series of composite material samples with various Mn/Fe molar ratios?1:0,3:1,1:1,1:3,0:1?were synthesized by the same way to optimize electrocatalytic performance. The results of the characterizations reveal that Mn2O3-Fe2O3/CFs possesses 3D net-like structure, big surface area, conduciving to expose the catalytic active sites.Electrochemical measurements show that Mn2O3-Fe2O3/CFs?3:1?has the best catalysis ability and detection performance for hydrogen peroxide?H2O2?reduction and hydrazine?N2H4?oxidation.This is mainly characterized by short response time, wide linear range, good stability.2.The 3D composite materials of molybdenum tungsten sulfide/carbon cloth?Mo-W-S/CC?was prepared by electrodeposition process rapidly and effectively.Ammonium tetrathiomolybdate??NH4?2MoS4?and ammonium tetrathiotungstate??NH4?2WS4?was used as the source of molybdenum and tungsten, respectively.Characterization results show that molybdenum tungsten sulfide was successfully deposited on carbon cloth and uniformly distributed. Moreover, the deposition conditions?potential range, scan rate, cycle number and electrolyte composition?have been optimized systematically to obtain the highest catalytic ability.A series of electrochemical experiments displays Mo-W-S/CCOC has achieved excellent performance and outstanding stability as an electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction?HER?in acidic electrolytes.
