Secondary atmospheric pollution had deteriorated in Henan,one of the center cities in China.Haze and ozone polluted days occurred frequently in recent years,especially in summer,which related to volatile organic compounds?VOCs?and particulate matter?particles of aerodynamic < 2.5 ?m?.Volatile organic compounds?VOCs?acted as one of the important precursors for O3 and secondary organic aerosols formation,were studied widely in recent years.Establishing complete source profile of VOCs was the significant fundamental research of the source apportionment,air quality model,emission inventory to study the formation mechanism of air pollution.Integrated source profile and the control technology of VOCs were summarized in this study to offer targeted advises for ozone management strategy pollution in this study.In this study,VOCs were selected as the research object to guide the emission control strategy.A datebase of VOCs source profile was summarized and identified individually of the mainly sources through data mining and statistical analysis;Scope of application and characteristics of different treatment techniques were discussed to support the choosing of techniques;Combining with the experience of ozone pollution control in other areas,suggestions were summarized and put forward to remit O3 pollution in Henan.The results show that: 1.The current air quality was not optimistic in Henan,ozone pollution has occurred in Zhengzhou,Luoyang and Pingdingshan.The results showed that 8h-max-O3 concentration exceed Ambient Air Quality Standard?GB 3095-2012?account for 26.58%,27.67%,21.64% in 2016,respectively.2.Emission characteristic of the mainly sources showed large disparity in different sources.For the main VOCs emission source: industrial processes,solvent use,transportation,fossil fuel burning,biomass burning,natural source and other sources.The compiled profiles showed that ethylene,propylene,acetylene,aromatics were the mainly contributed species,aromatic,formaldehyde,acetone,ethyl acetate,isopropyl alcohol exihibited great discrepancy among different sources.3.Different treatment techniques and control principles were discussed in this study.Accounting for the reactivity-based control technology was more effective,corresponding control method were suggested among sources of industrial processes,solvent use,transportation.4.The O3 control strategy in Henan were recommended by establishment of laws and regulations,the scientific research of ozone,the establishment of early warning system,and the common supervision of all parties,which were combined with the current situation and learned from the experience of United States,Japan and Tai wan China.
