Aluminum foam was a new type of material which was developed in 80 s of last century.It is called structural-function integrated material.it has many traditional materials can not match the special property due to its special characteristics on structure,It has sound absorption,noise reduction,shock absorption and other functions due to its low density and high porosity of the structural characteristics.Currently,aluminum foam is used in automotive,construction,transportation and other fields.Because of its uniqueness,researching and developing of aluminum foam at home and abroad are very active.in recent yearsIn this paper,powder metallurgy method is used to mixed Aluminum alloy and foaming agent?TiH2 powder?as raw material,preparing aluminum foam preform through the extrusion method,finally making aluminum foam materials by Heat preservation in the box resistance furnace.The effect of high Mg content on foaming behavior of foam aluminum was studied with different Mg elements content.The foaming behavior of foam aluminum in closed cavity under different volume fold constraints Effects of Different Blowing Agent and the different addition of magnesium content on foam Behavior.The experimental results show that the Mg content can change the oxide phase composition in the foamed aluminum matrix.The melt fraction of the liquid phase increased during the foaming process.The formation of the foam changed in the early stage of foaming aluminum foam.The Si element reacts to matrix and produced Mg2Si particles diffusely distributed in the pore walls resulting in an increase in the surface viscosity of the melt.These results have a beneficial effect on the foaming process of the aluminum foam,which makes the final pore structure more stable.However,the high Mg element content also has adversely affects to the structure of the foam,and the experimental results show that the experiment results of AlMg4Si7 is the best.In addition,the study shows that foam aluminum in the closed cavity of the foam in the law basically consistent with the law of free expansion.With the increase of Mg content,the effect of foam aluminum is better.When the magnesium content reaches 4Wt%,The results show that the foam aluminum is metallurgical joint.
