During the process of rare earth extraction and separation,the change of the content of rare earth ion component will directly affect the extraction,separation,production process and the quality of the final rare earth products.However,due to the detection environment,methods,equipment and other issues,the actual production of rare earth ion component content is still mainly through artificial sampling,sample preparation,and then to the laboratory testing.This method has the disadvantages of discontinuity,non real time and time consuming,which leads to the problems of not timely control,energy consumption and unstable product quality.Based on the background of the rare earth extraction process,aiming at the existing extraction process of ion content detection equipment problems,according to the relationship between reactive ion ion characteristic color component content changes,according to the analysis to design a set of suitable two components of rare earth elements in extraction process of ion content detection system,completed rare earth ions set automatic sampling and image acquisition,analysis and detection of data storage and interaction is one of the content detection system.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)According to the test requirements,the overall design of the ion component content detection system based on the characteristic color of rare earth extraction process is carried out,including hardware design and software design.The hardware of the system includes sampling,sample preparation,image acquisition and detection of 4 devices,each device programming function,and structure design;according to the system requirements,the design of signal acquisition,processing and control circuit of the system;adopting the module method,divides the software function of the system,design the detection process structure machine PC machine.(2)The image processing function of the detection system is realized by Matlab,and the color feature value is extracted and processed.In the RGB and HSI color space were compared on rare earth solution images of different filtering methods,the median filter can significantly reduce the image noise environment and hardware equipment;application of Otsu image segmentation algorithm to remove the background and theory of two kinds of color image color space under the rare earth solution through regional matching comparativeanalysis shows that the HSI space is better segmentation;reflect the rare earth ion component eigenvalue method using color moments,and comparative analysis of the experimental and field solution of image H and S component characteristic value and the component content of rare earth ions.(3)The characteristic value of the image acquisition under field conditions were corrected by RBF neural network,and study the two kinds of detection model,the first one is the detection model by ELM QPSO algorithm optimization,modeling speed,the maximum error of simulation cases was 0.96%;second is a polynomial fitting model of component in the range of absolute error of Nd/Pr solution of 40%~81% detection within 0.6%,detection accuracy is relatively higher.(4)The detection system of ion component content in extraction process of rare earth based on characteristic color was tested.The simulation results show that the degree of automation testing system designed in this paper,high detection accuracy and good repeatability,accord with the technological requirements for the further application of ion component content detection system to provide a good foundation for production of rare earths.
