Flexography,supported by national policy,is not only the environmental excellent printing method,but also an important means for flexible package in printing market.However,it is difficult to measure ratio of dot area directly because of the complexity of printing plate material and dot in control of flexography,which restricts the realization refined flexographic printing.Therefore,technology of direct measurement of flexographic plate becomes the key in study of flexography.This thesis systematically reviewed the study of dot detection home and abroad and analyzed current situation of dot detection technology so that a technology of image segmentation is proposed to solve the difficulty of dot reorganization in flexographic plate dot detection according to particularity of flexographic plate dot.This technology segments the dot region and based region in image of flexographic plate through calculation of threshold.Furthermore,it measures ratio of flexographic plate dot area by means of calculation of connected domain area in segmented image.The technology realizes a high accurate computational measurement for flexographic plate dot.Besides,a detective system based on Android mobile plate is established for it.This dot detection equipment is both smart and portable,which breaks the technique block abroad and promotes it in China.It processes theoretical value and engineering value for a high precise development of flexography industry.
