Chlorella pyrenoidosa is a kind of functional food with a long history and rich nutrition.In 2012,the Ministry of Health of China approved C.pyrenoidosa as a new resource food.As a kind of industrial species,it was applied in the industrialization of microalgae energy and microalgae carbon sequestration.Moreover,as a kind of edible medicinal products Chlorella could be used in the study of high value-added products.Chlorella growth factors(CGF),often called Chlorella hot water extracts(CE)had anti-tumor,antioxidant,resistance to infection and immunomodulatory effects.Previous research had established a mature and stable extraction of hot water extracts of C.pyrenoidosa(CPE),but its main functional components were still unclear.Based on the preliminary study to establish an efficient rapid extraction method and active tracking platform,this article mainly took the development of high value-added products of Chlorella as the main study,and conducted a series of purification and biological activity to determine the functional composition of the CPE.The main conclusions were summarized as follows:(1)Evaluating antioxidant activity and immunity activity of CPE,PS and its purification products.The results showed that the antioxidant activity and immune regulating activity of PS were significantly higher than that of CPE.Based on antioxidant activity and immunity activity as tracking indicators,we got the two kinds of different molecular weight combination products by ultrafiltration separation of PS.The results of biological activity evaluation showed that PS-1(molecular weight higher than 10000 Da)and PS-2(molecular weight less than 10000 Da)had higher antioxidant activity and dual immunity activity.(2)Through a series of purification and biological activity evaluation,the main functional components of PS-1 and PS-2 were acquired.The main functional components were PS-1-3-2,PS-1-3-2 and PS-2-3-2.The molecular weight of PS-1-4-2,PS-1-3-2,PS-2-3-3 were 3.97×104 Da,2.28×104 Da,4.10×103 Da,respectively.Monosaccharide compositions were mannose,rhamnose,glucuronic acid,glucose,galactose,xylose and arabinose.Infrared(IR)spectra showed that the components had typical polysaccharide absorption peaks.
