China's energy development emphasizes green,cleanness and low-carbon.Natural gas is the fastest growing quality clean energy in the world,whose proportion in primary energy consumption has the increase trend year by year.By 2020,the proportion is expected to rise to about 10 percent.But there is always an unbalanced between supply and demand for natural gas,which can be solved by intensifying the construction of gas storage facilities.Our country is supporting the construction of LNG storage facilities energetically to ensure that the supplying natural gas is safe,stable and reliable to the users.In addition to applied for industrial field the submerged combustion can also be used as the LNG vaporizer.Compared with other vaporizers,it has advantages for high heat exchange efficiency,more compact and low pollutants in flue gas.By analyzing the combustion stability of submerged combustion and establishing mathematical model,this article summarizes the cause of flame out in two aspects.For the first,gas concentration is less than the lower limit or higher than the upper limit of flammable concentration.On the other hand,the pressure in combustor is greater than the gas or air pressure before the fire hole.In order to maintain the gas concentration within flammable concentration range(5%~15%),the relative pressure fluctuation amplitude of combustor can't go beyond certain range.So we construct cold experiment system to study on the pressure fluctuation characters in submerged combustion.Then the article describes the structure of cold experiment system,main instruments,experimental scheme and experimental procedures.By normalizing the experimental scheme and procedures,the experimental process becomes more safe,reasonable and smooth.Lastly the experimental test data is to be collated and analyzed.The limited amplitude of relative pressure fluctuation changes with the air flow,immersion depth and aperture are described by a series of charts.Then the experimental data is fitted by polynomial through the use of SPSS software.We establish the optimal model by taking the relative pressure fluctuation amplitude limit as dependent variable,and the immersion depth,air flow and aperture as independent variables.I hope the conclusion reached through the analysis of cold experimental data can make a little contribution to the design and development of submerged combustion.
