Supported and non-supported Ni-Cu-Ce-B catalysts were prepared by impregnation and chemical reduction with NiCl2,Cu(NO3)2,Ce(NO3)3 as raw material and KBH4 as reducing agent.Using fixed bed reactor,this paper researched the influence of the ratio of Cu and Ni,the ratio of Ce and Ni and the loading of the catalyst on the activity and selectivity of the catalyst by designing the orthogonal experiment of there levels of there factors,then filtered the best catalyst preparation conditions.This paper also researched the influence of temperature,pressure,reaction time,the liquid hourly space velocity,the volume ratio of between hydrogen and phenol on the activity and selectivity of the reaction by designing the orthogonal experiment of there levels of five factors,then filtered the best reaction conditions.At last,this paper researched the influence of additives,carriers,reuse and storage time on the activity and selectivity of catalysts and the interaction mechanism of Cu and Ce on surface of Ni-B/?-Al2O3 catalyst.The results showed the best catalyst preparation conditions: the ratio of Cu and Ni was0.3,the ratio of Ce and Ni was 0.2,the loading of the catalyst was 30 % and the best reaction conditions: temperature was 150 ?,pressure was 1.0 MPa,reaction time was 1.5 h,the liquid hourly space velocity was 2.0 h-1,the volume ratio of between hydrogen and phenol was 50/1.Under the best catalyst preparation conditions and reaction conditions,the activity of catalyst could be 47.39 %,the selectivity of catalyst could be 29.37 %.The prepared Ni-Cu-Ce-B catalyst was nanometer amorphous and the active component was dispersed evenly.Adding Cu and Ce,the thermal stability,specific surface area,the activity and selectivity of catalyst was improved.After storing for a long time,the catalyst still kept better activity and selectivity.The electronic transfer between Cu and Ni and the enhancement of the basicity of catalyst by Ce were beneficial to increase the selectivity of catalyst.
