Surfactants that di-phiphilic based single hydrophobic chain are widely used in detergents for their excellent solubility,stability,dispersibility,rinse ability and hard water resistance.However,the species of such surfactants is still less,has limited its application in the relevant areas.In this paper,two series of Y-type di-phiphilic based surfactants were synthesized and their performance was explored in solubilization,foaming and emulsification.With dodecylamine,octadecylamine for raw materials,a series of Y-type amino surfactants(PA-12,PA-18)were synthesized by Michael addition and Amide condensation,the reaction yields about was 90%.With dodecylamine,octadecylamine,nonylphenol for raw materials,a series of Y-type carboxyl surfactants(CY1-12,CY2-12,CY1-18,CY2-18,BZCY)were synthesized by electrophilic substitution reaction.At the same time,the synthesized compounds were confirmed by IR spectroscopy and ESI-MS.The surface tension of every product was determined by ring method.The effects of temperature and inorganic salt on the surface activity were also investigated.The results showed that the surface activity of PA-12 was higher in the amino surfactants and its ?cmc and cmc were 30.65mN/m,0.15mmol/L;the surface activity of BZCY in the carboxyl surfactants was the best and its ?cmc and cmc were 30.029mN/m,0.89mmol/L.With the increase of temperature,the surface tension decreased gradually,however,the change of the critical micelle concentration was oppositeiy.The inorganic salt had no effect on the amino surfactant,but significantly improved the surface activity of carboxyl surfactants.The interfacial tension of oil/water was measured by spin dropping method.The results showed that the oil/water interfacial tension of PA-12 and BZCY can reach the order of 10(-2) mN/m.At the same time,the interfacial activity of the BZCY-SDS complex system was investigated.It was found that when the total concentration was 0.3% and the mass ratio was 30:1,the complex system could reduce the oil/water interfacial tension to 10(-3)mN/m Magnitude.With different techniques,the solubilization ability of each product to acetylsalicylic acid had been investigated.At the same time,the foaming properties,emulsifying properties,the effects of inorganic salt concentration and alcohol on the foam properties had been studied.The results showed that the solubilization ability of PA-12 on acetylsalicylic acid was the best with the solid dispersion technique.The foaming property of BZCY was the best,and the stability of CY1-12 was the best.With the increase of inorganic salt concentration,the foaming property increased firstly and decreased secondly.The isopropanol increased significantly the foaming of the foam,while the ethanol to improve the stability of the foam.The emulsification effect of PA-12 on desulfurization kerosene is the best.
