Energy is an important resource,but the process of energy exploitation and utilization can also pollute and damage the natural environment and harm human health.As a big city of more than twenty million people,Beijing needs a lot of energy,but there is still 168 days that have not reach the air quality standard in Beijing in 2015,and smog is an important phenomenon of “Big City” disease.So the research uses quantitative analysis method to evaluate the air quality of and assess the impact of energy consumption structure on air quality of Beijing,and in this way we can find solutions to improve the energy consumption structure and control the air pollution.The thesis analyzes the annual average concentration of SO2,NO2,PM10 and PM2.5 in Beijing from 2000 to 2015,and use the gray clustering model to assess the atmosphere environmental quality.The research results show that the annual average concentration of SO2,PM10 during 2000-2015 in Beijing dropped,the annual average concentration NO2,PM2.5 dropped during 2000-2007,after 2008,the decline is very small with narrow range fluctuations;In general,the air quality of Beijing remained III level for 2000-2007 and II level for 2008-2015,so the air quality is better in recent years in general.The thesis studies the changes of energy consumption structure,the use and problems of main energy,and then analyses the influence of energy consumption structure on the SO2,NO2,PM10,PM2.5 annual average concentration and the air quality composite index which is measured in clustering coefficient of the third grey class by co-integration analysis and error-correction model.The results show that the proportion of coal and oil has positive impact while the proportion of electricity has negative effect on four pollutant concentration and the air quality composite index,the proportion of natural gas has negative effect on SO2,PM10 concentration and air quality composite index but positive effect on NO2 and PM2.5 concentration,the proportion reduce of coal and increase of electricity improved the air quality of Beijing but on the same time the proportion increase of oil may restricted the reduce of NO2,PM2.5 concentration.The fundamental measures to control energy-related air pollution are to reduce fossil energy consumption and develop new energy and renewable energy in total energy consumption,and propose measures such as promoting the coordinated development of distributed photovoltaic and electric vehicles.
