In this paper,a series of research on physical characteristics and vertical distribution characteristics of aerosols in typical areas in China(Gansu Jiayuguan,Wuwei,Zhang ye,Xinjiang Korla,Hefei,Mr Khan Tara Grassland of Inner Mongolia,Guangdong Maoming beach,etc.)is performed through a variety of equipments.The specific contents of the research mainly covers the following aspects:This paper introduces atmospheric aerosols from different respects,such as aerosol spectral classification and the parameters of the optical properties,application mode,and aerosol sources.In order to ensure the accuracy of aerosol optical parameters,the performance of the micro pulse lidar,solar radiometer devices are generally discussed,including the instrument indicators,Fernald inversion method and the relevant correction technology application.On the basis of common methods for measuring aerosol elevation,this paper proposes a method to obtain scaling height which is estimated by extinction coefficient profile and optical thickness of aerosol.To verify the accuracy of the fitting results,a linear and regression analysis is done,the analysis shows that two methods have good agreement,the correlation coefficient is greater than 0.87,the relative error is about 15%.Aerosol vertical distribution and statistical characteristics of scaling height of typical areas in China are studied by using two methods.The daily variation of aerosol elevation is described.In addition,the vertical distribution of aerosols in Hefei area is studied,and the statistical analysis for aerosol elevation of Mr Khan tara grassland in Inner Mongolia and Guangdong Maoming beach is finished.Temperature,humidity and pressure which is obtained through conventional meteorological observation equipments was used to study the effects of relative humidity change of scaling height.Additionally,the characteristics of different scaling height with different wavelengths is also analyzed,which points out that with the increase of the wavelength,the aerosol elevation reduced accordingly.Finally,a inversion method,retrieving LR which is the ratio between aerosol backward scattering and extinction and atmospheric optical thickness,is proposed.After accessing to the relevant aerosols database,we can establish relevant atmospheric aerosol model.
