Based on the research of the plasma reactor with high-voltage pulse power supply,it mainly studied the oxidation of Hg0 by Pulse Corona Ind uced Plasma C hemical Process(PPCP).The effects of high-voltage pulse power supply parameters,the reaction time,O2,HCl and the initial concentration of Hg0 on elementary mercury oxidation were experimentally investigated by using a link-cylinder reaetor.The experimental results was analyzed to study the pulse function mechanism of Hg0 oxidation by PPCP and be applied to the engineering practice of the fluorescent lamp recycling.The experimental results show that with higher discharge voltage and the larger pulse frequency,oxidation efficiency can be improved and 8k V is the on-set voltage of this plasma reactor.The economic oxidation condition is at 9 kV and 400 Hz.With the increase of initial concentration of Hg0,the oxidation efficiency increased firstly then decreased,and it can achieve the highest oxidation rate when the initial concentration is 253.4?g/m3.The longer the residence time,the reaction more fully,while the residence time is more than 7s,oxidation rate is up to 91.65%.The concentration of O2 and HC l,which can produce radicals including O,O3 and C l,have a significant promotion to the oxidation.And compared with HC l,the promote effect of O 2 is obvious.The system 0% O2 / 0ppm HC l and 20% O2 / 0ppm HC l can achieve 0 and 71.65% of Hg0 efficiency respectively.What's more,the oxidation efficiency is up to 86.73% with the system 20% O2 /100 ppm HC l.The achievement was applied to the practice engineering of waste fluorescent lamp recycling system which can produce mercury pollution.The Hg0 oxidation rate and HgT removement rate was 88.84% and 88.84% respectively by changing discharge voltages and pulse frequency.The experimental results show that pulse corona induced plasma chemical process,which can replace the gas treatment system of MRT,is conducive to the economy,the environment and the society.
