This subject is mainly for the tensile elongation of the measurement such us rubber,plastic and other materials,which the tensile testing usually using the video,marker extensometer method.But the marking line's width due to the nonuniformity of the specimen surface material and even sliding when it was extruded too long.Leading to the marking line color in the width direction of the extension irregularly or even occurs to tear phenomenon.So the method of metal deformation for the small deformation of the video reticle calibration line algorithm does not adapt to the tensile of rubber and plastic.As the marker line changes very complicated during the stretching process:such as tearing,becoming island,or even fall off due to the different properties of every meterial,causing to find the edge detection and line position importantly.For the mark line appears three kinds of deformation,the mark line to restore the best to determine the strain of the center of mass The method involves pixel location,contour extraction and image filling of the image processing technology.In this paper,the problem which the problem causes the make line out of shape inrrgularrly and the larger displacement dues to the camera tracking mark line low efficiency has been overcome.This article provided two methods to calculate the centroid of the marked line and compared both methods of the adaptation and accuracy.A software system for extensional deformation extensometer measurement has been developed in this paper.Through the experiment,the software system can measure the rubber,plastic and other mechanical parameters precisely. |
