With the rapid development of China's aerospace,defense and military and nuclear industry,efficient cutting has important research value in modern machining techno logy.the extent of its technical level of development directly affects the quality of machining and manufacturing costs.as tool wear is one of the inevitable problems of cutting processing,how to control the tool wear and extend tool life has an important theoretical significance and application value.In this paper,specific research work:1)To explore the status quo and significance of the process of cutting tool wear,it analyzes the latest developments at home and abroad in the metal processing area.2)Analysis tool wear mechanism and main characteristics,design and metal cutting tools and wear testings analysis tool wear and tool wear mechanism of cemented carbide cutting tool 45 forms when steel.3)Explore the current tool wear rate mathematical model combining metal cutting experiments to derive suitable for this task tool wear rate of mathematical equations and then establish the appropriate tool wear rate model,by mathematical statistics tool wear rates under different cutting conditions were compared to explore the main factor in the process of cutting tool wear influence.4)Analysis and Discussion chip separation criteria,combined with finite element analysis software DEFORM build material models;by controlling the cutting conditions and groove,analyze the impact of cutting conditions and changes in the Groove tool wear,and then draw the main factors affect the tool wear.5)A combination of experimental and simulation,analysis of different conditions on the cutting tool wear when carbide cutting tool 45 steel This paper focuses on the process of carbide cutting tool surface stress,the surface temperature of the tool and tool wear rate trends with cutting conditions and changes in the groove,and then come to the main factors affecting carbide tool wear.Simulation results show that:cutting speed,feed rate and tool wear groove changes affect large knife back to eat relatively small amount.
