Organic phosphorus flame retardant is one of the most important species.It has retardanting and plasticizing.It can achieve non-ha logenated.It can improve the flow properties in the plastic molding,inhibit the residues of burning.Spirocyclic diphenol phosphate is a common phosphorus flame retardant,and its conventional synthesis is prepared by a two-step reaction,the reaction intermediates of the reaction pentaerythritol,phosphorus oxychloride as starting raw material preparation,with phenolthe final target product.Conventional reaction,separation and purification of intermediates is too much trouble and increase cost.The paper improve on synthesis process by selection of solvent?acid binding agent,used acetonitrile as solvent,triethylamine as acid blending agent.The route is one-pot reaction without isolation of intermediate.The yield reach to 82%,the recovery of solvent and is 80%and the recovery 75%respectively.The one-pot reaction route reduces production cost and achieves domestic industrialization.The flame retardancy is good.Neopentyl glycol phosphoryl chloride is also flame retardant intermediate with spirostructure.On the basis of neopentyl glycol phosphoryl chloride design and synthesis of the three phosphate ester flame retardants.Intermediate neopentyl glycolphosphoryl chloride reaction with phenol,chlorophenol,aniline and get three phosphate ester flame retardants,the total yield of the products were 98%,90%,90%.byNMR,MS to characterize the structure,synthesis of the target product.The thermal behaviors are studied by TG,there product all have good thermal stability and charring.In recent years microwave synthesis has developed into an independent chemicalmethod or a combination with other methods.It has many advantages such as(a)heating speed(b)theutilization of geothermal energy(c)responsive(d)the advantages of product quality.Microwave synthesis of neopentyl glycol phosphoryl chloride,neopentyl glycol phosphoryl chlorideResorcinol,and Spirocyclic diphenol phosphate three kinds of flame retardants,the yield was respectively 91%,90%,88%,and do structural characterization,proved to be a synthesis of the target product.
