As a new type of the pollutants in the water environment,Amoxicill in originate from the domestic sewage,medical sewage and aquaculture sewage mainly.Because the composition of Amoxicillin in water environment was complex and accumulated in a trace concentrations level for a long-term,the potential risk of Amoxicillin is oboins.Focused on amoxicillin sewage,combined Biological Aerated Filter(BAF)reactor,and funded by the Research of river water quality improvement and engineering demonstration with Xinfeng River in Daxing District,Beijing as case study,this study make the contents of this study included start-up of BAF,effects of different parameters on the removal rate of amoxicillin,adsorption behavior of Amoxicillin by a new type of coconut shell activated carbon,degradation behavior of amoxicillin in water and light,and changes of microbial community in the BAF under the influence of Amoxicillin.In this study,the operation parameters of BAF were designed as belows:the inflow was 9 mLˇmin-1,HRT was 15 h,aeration rate was 300 mLˇmin-1 and backwashing time was 30 min every 4 days.After a total of 117d of continuous stable operation,the removal rates of COD,NH4+-N,TP and amoxicillin were 91.97%,95.84%,59.01%and 74.14%respectively.After the stable operation of BAF,different operating parameters were adjusted and the impact of amoxicillin removal rate was explore.Results show that with the stable operation,the amoxicillin removal is that best when inflow volume was 9 mLˇmin-1,and the aeration rate was 500 mLˇL-1.For the study of Amoxicillin adsorbed by the coconut shell activated carbon in BAF,the results showed that the adsorption is in consist with Langmuir isothermal adsorption model and pseudo two order kinetics model.And its optimum dosage is 3 gˇL-1.For degradation process of amoxicillin in natural water,it was chartered by degrading rapidly firstly than slowly until reaching steady state.Amoxicillin can be broken from amino,beta lactam rings and carboxyl groups easily and then produce degradation products.Over all,the effects of photolysis and hydrolysis on degradation process of Amoxicillin were little.Using Miseq technology,the microbial community diversities and stuctures with and without the influence of Amoxicillin were compared.The results showed that the influence of Amoxicillin on microorganism not only can cause the growth of amoxicillin degrading bacteria,but also can cause the toxicity and drug resistance.
