This paper mainly studies the enhancement modification of polypropylene (PP),polypropylene (PP) for the plastics substrate, Through joining the coupling agent(aluminum acid ester coupling agent, titanate coupling agent and two kinds of silane coupling agent KH-550, KH-570),two kinds of surface modification agent and silica (SiO2)coated on the surface treatment of potassium titanate whisker (K2Ti6O13),mixed refining K2Ti6O13/PP composite materials, in order to improve the comprehensive mechanics performance of K2Ti6O13/PP composites. For K2Ti6O13/ PP composite materials tensile,bending, mechanical properties such as impact test. And use the melt rate meter, capillary rheometer and testing its rheological properties; Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to observe its internal microstructure, DSC tested the isothermal crystallization process.Have to go through the data obtained from the test results show that the use of four types of coupling agent components, increase the interface performance of K2Ti6O13 / PP composites, comparison found: the effect of silane coupling agent KH-570,and when the dosage of K2Ti6O13 2.5 wt %,the comprehensive mechanics performance of the K2Ti6O13/PP composite materials is best, so the further modification of polypropylene base material follow-up, based on the coupling agent KH-550 to study the processing; With PP-g-MAH, (EVA+POE)-g-MAH these two kinds of surface modification agent added to the complex system, can have improve K2Ti6O13 / PP composite materials comprehensive mechanical properties, when (EVA+POE)-g-MAH content for October, the comprehensive mechanics performance of the K2Ti6O13/ PP composites at its highest point; It is worth noting that the only aluminum acid ester, the addition of titanate coupling agent can improve the rheological properties of K2Ti6O13/ PP composite materials,the rest of the surface treating agent and compatibilizer will reduce the rheological properties of complex system. With K2Ti6O13 coated on the surface of SiO2 is to make K2Ti6O13 surface and at the same time has the objective of SiO2 features, prevent due to the inertia of potassium titanate whisker with adding coupling agent works,therefore the purpose of the cladding is conducive to the surface of the coupling agent K2Ti6O13 and SiO2 cooperation with and protect the whisker potassium titanate whisker better together with coupling agent react with polypropylene, coating amount of whisker of 2wt %. By isothermal crystallization of the test shows that the addition of small molecular packing in PP more heterogeneous nucleation effect, speed up the crystallization, at the same time also can reduce system crystallinity, improving toughness.
