According to a wide range of uses and abundant resources and its profound influence for the national economy, coal is an important basic energy in our country. While, with the development of mining, coal mining step into a deeper stage, and in the consequent the mining area contains a variety of factors to enhance the hydrogeological environment probability of coal seam roof water inrush occurs available. Thus, according to the theory of three decision rough set, evaluation of coal seam roof water inrush risk has been studied in this paper for contributing to safety of coal mining.Five principal factor influencing coal roof water inrush have been studied in this paper,that is waterproof intensity in roof, height of the water flowing fractured zone, the aquifer's hydraulic pressure, the overlying water abundance of aquifer and geological structure. Five factors were substituted into SPSS22, waterproof intensity in roof, height of the water flowing fractured zone and geological structure have been chosen according to its saliency, while, The water pressure in the aquifer and the water-rich nature of the overlying aquifer have been excluded. The theory of three decision rough set is decision rough set imported Bayes risk analysis and probabilistic risk. Then, bringing waterproof intensity in roof, height of the water flowing fractured zone and geological structure into binary logistic equation, we can get the result of conditional probability for each sample water inrush. And then, threshold of alpha,beta can be get by taking an adaptive algorithm. According to sample water inrush probability and threshold of aipha, beta, the sample is divided into water inrush, no water inrush, further to three category. Prediction system for coal mine roof water inrush based on the theory of three decision rough set with simple operation is an effective method to prediction for coal mine roof water inrush.The theory of three decision rough set is used to validate the 5304-2 working face of Laogongyingzi coal mine and Baodian coal mine. The probability of roof water bursting in Laojioyouzi coal mine is greater than a, and the probability of the roof of 5304-2 working face in Baodian coal mine is less than ?,which accords with the three decision rules, thus confirms the feasibility of the three decision-making rough set methods in roof water inrush prediction.Based on the VB programming language, the mine roof water inrush prediction system is divided into the management system for coal mine data information file and the prediction system for mine roof water inrush. The management system for mine data file provide data support to water inrush forecast, and the factors of roof water inrush information management.According to the computation of conditional probability and threshold designed for the mine roof water inrush forecast subsystem, the system will judge the condition of mine roof water inrush.
