In recent years, with the rapid economy development of the city and the industrialization and urbanization process is packing up speed, environment problem has become a hot issue of social concern, especially the PM2.5 problem. The paper focused on the statistical analysis of PM2.5 from data distribution,space-time variation characteristics, and its correlation between air pollutants concentration and meteorological factors, which based on the pollution and meteorological factor data analysis of six standing conventional air quality monitoring stations in the city, and combined with the site layout analysis of PM2.5 monitoring data and its links to optimize conventional air quality monitoring sites. The results of optimized monitoring sites could form related monitoring network, this will provide more reliable and representative data for environment monitoring,to provide a new method for environmental protection management decisions.Details as follows:The change characteristics of PM2.5 in Liuzhou were analyzed by monitoring data of six monitoring points in2013.The results showed that concentration of PM2.5 in summer was the lowest and its fluctuation was the smallest, when in spring and winter were inverse and high volatility distance. The daily change of PM2.5 is 7 to 10 days in winter and 14 to 18 days in winter.Concentration of monitoring points in the urban area is higher than that outside urban area, and the concentration of monitoring points near the industrial area is the highest.Relationship between PM2.5 and the external factors meteorological conditions or the internal pollution sources were studied. The effect of internal sources on PM2.5 concentration was higher than external factors for the former had higher correlation coefficient.Analysis of connection between monitoring stations layout and PM2.5 showed that their nuances was determined by layout, average daily monitoring data was volatility in the complex environment, when it was ripple in the environment of single pollution source?Monitoring points were divided into external points and central points following the principles of Maintaining the number of existing monitoring points, meeting the needs of environmental monitoring, representative and operational. The external points located in the urban area adjacent to the industrial area for characteristics of Liuzhou city layout and meteorological conditions,as the center in the representative place of the city center, finally,a monitoring network with both air quality forecasting and environmental risk warning function would form.
