Kaifeng is a famous “water city”,in the north of China,and the river flowing through it plays an important role in the development of Kaifeng City.The Huafei river of old industrial district area,the Huangbian river of old city area and the Majia river of new development area in kaifeng were elected as the object of study.Based on the field suvery results,In the Huafei river laid 4 sampling points were laid in the Huafei river,,Huangbian river laid 5 sampling points,Majia river set 4 sampling points,opened on pollution the distribution of heavy metals in river sediments in different functional areas.The study helps to fully understand the situation of heavy metal pollution in sediments of rivers in different functional areas of the Kaifeng city can provide the basis for the construction of the ecological environment in city river and its two sides.Based on the single factor pollution index and the Nemero pollution index method,the improved Hakanson potential ecological risk index method was used to analyze and evaluate the spatial distribution characteristics of heavy metal pollution and the source of heavy metal pollution in different functional areas of Kaifeng City of rivers and sediment pollution.The main findings were as follows:1)The content of heavy metals in rivers and sediments of different functional areas in Kaifeng City.The rivers and water bodies in Kaifeng haven't reached the second class standard of surface water.The water quality of Cd,Zn,Pb and As in river water body is higher than 140%,and the degree of spatial change is large.The contents of heavy metals in river water of different functional areas show great difference.The Cd and Zn was the old industrial area>the old city area> In the new development area,the Cu was the the old city area> old industrial area>In the new development zone,the As content was the new development area> the old industrial area>the old city area,the Pb was the old industrial area >the new development area>the old city area.The contents of heavy metals Cd,Zn,Cu,As,Pb,Ni and Cr in the sediments of the Huafei river in the old industrial area were significantly higher than in Huangbian River of the old city and the Majia rieve of the new development area.The contents of As and Cr in the sediments of the old city area and the new developement areas were different.The content of As in the old city area> the new development area,the Cr content is the new development area> the old city area,the others heavy metal content difference not big.2)Evaluation of Heavy Metal Pollution in River Sediment of Different Functional Areas.Based on the single factor pollution index,the results show that Cd,Zn,Cu and Pb in the sediment of the old industrial area were heavy pollution level,As is the pollution grade,Cr and Ni are light pollution level.The heavy metals Cd in the sediments of Huangbian river in the old city area were heavy pollution grade,and Zn,Cu and Pb were light pollution grade,Cr,Ni and As were clean grade.The heavy metals Zn and Cd were heavy pollution level,Cu was pollution grade,As,Pb and Cr for the light pollution level,Ni for the clean level.Based on the Nemeru pollution index,the results show that the Huafei river in the old industrial area and the Huangbian river in the old city area and the Majia River in the new development area were characterized by heavy pollution,and the sediment of river pollution was not optimistic.The potential ecological risk assessment of the heavy metal pollution in the river sediments of the functional areas was that the Huafei river in the old industrial area was characterized by the strong ecological risk level,the Huangbian river in the old city and the Majia river in the new development area were the degree of strong ecological risk.3)Speciation and bioavailability of heavy metals in sediments from different functional areas.The results showed that the chemical speciation distribution of heavy metals in different functional areas was different.In the old industrial area,the heavy metals of Cd and Zn were mainly composed of FM(Fe-Mn oxides bound),OR(Organic bound),Cu and Cr were mainly in OR and RE(Residual),Pb,As andNi were mainly composed of RE and FM.In the old city of the heavy metals in the Huangbian river are RE and FM-based.Located in the new development area of Majia river,the heavy metals of Cu were mainly composed of RE,the rest of the heavy metal were RE and FM-based.The results showed that the bioavailability of Cd was high,the Zn?Cu?Ni?Pb?Cr?As were following.4)Analysis of sources of heavy metal contamination of Kaifeng in river sediment.Pb isotopic analysis showed that the Huafei river in the old industrial areas are similar to those of the selected industrial contaminated soils.Pb isotopic results just to verify this point.The results show that the Pb isotopes of the heavy metals in the sediments of the other two functional areas werw close to the relatively clean soils in Kaifeng City,The content of Pb in the functional area was light.5)Four species in the old industrial area of Huafei River in the typical sites of heavy metal accumulation and
