Nitrogen-containing functional carbon materials are functionalized by incorporation of nitrogen atoms into carbon-based materials.Much attention has been attracted by nitrogen-containing functional carbon materials due to their abundant pores, outstanding mechanical properties, excellent chemical features and unusual conductivity. For carbon-based materials, nitrogen doping to achieve functionalization is an important way that is needed for scientific exploration and specific research. Therefore, finding methods that characteristic of low costs, easy operation procedure, and excellent effects are always difficult problems for researchers. The experiments in this paper can be divided into two parts:In the first part, the Fe3O4 nanoparticles with specific morphology were prepared by solvothermal method, and then added into the resin before polymerization. After carbonized at high temperature,nitrogen-containing carbon spheres which contain Fe3O4 nanoparticles with specific morphology were obtained. The characterization and analysis were carried out by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy,X-ray powder diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. At the same time,nitrogen-containing carbon spheres were fabricated into electrode sheets. The supercapacitor performance was analyzed by cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge-discharge and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy on electrochemical workstation. Results have shown that the nitrogen-containing carbon spheres with sphere Fe3O4 nanoparticles have the best performance, the capacitance was up to 346.30 F g-1,and the resistance of materials was less than 0.55?.Therefore,nitrogen-containing carbon materials can be used as potential electrode materials for supercapacitors. In the second part,nitrogen-containing biomass-based porous carbon materials were fabricated via pyrolysis of walnut shell with the assistance of metal salt through carbothermal reaction. The characterization and analysis were carried out by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy,X-ray powder diffraction,N2 adsorption-desorption and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. At the same time, the tests for adsorbing dyes based on nitrogen-containing functional carbon materials were taken. The results showed that the maximum adsorption capacity of this material was 641.03 mg g-1 for methylene blue solution, and had fast adsorption rate and excellent recycling ability. It proved that this material can be used as an effective adsorbent for dye wastewater.
