Carbon membrane is a new form of porous inorganic membrane,which is made from coal.And it has abundant micropore structure.Because of its advantages of low cost、heat resistance、corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength and so on,membrane separation technique has become a high technology which adapts to the contemporary development of new industry.It’s paid a great deal of attention especially in the field of liquid separation.Different kinds of coals were taken as raw material in this paper.There were pressed molded by semi-dry pressure,and then carbon membrane was prepared through drying and carbonization.The influence of different ratio of coal on the property of carbon membrane was studied.It’s structure and property was characterized by gas bubble pressing.There were researched on surface modification of carbon membrane by solution polymerization taken acrylamide as monomer in order to grafting hydrophilic group.The membrane prepared by different conditions was separated on high concentration coking wastewater.The results showed that when coking coal accounts for 40%(Wt)of the mixed coal,the molding pressure is 20 MPa,and the terminal carbonizing temperature is 950 ℃,the property of carbon membrane reached optimal performance.And COD of wastewater decreased to 50% in the treatment of high concentrated coking wastewater.On this basis,the modification research showed that when the consumption of acrylamide accounts for 5% of oil-water,reaction temperature is 50℃ and reaction time is 4h,the property of carbon membrane is further improved,and COD of wastewater reduced to 69% in the treatment of coking wastewater.The size and distribution of pore structure of membrane can be adjusted and controlled through changing the ratio of various kinds of coal.Coking wastewater processing ability could be further improved by carbon membrane with hydrophilic group.The demand of added new water can be reduced when high concentrated coking wastewater enter into biochemical treatment station.From this,the aim of energy conservation and emissions reduction could be achieved.
