Submersible motor is the core power equipment which drives progressing cavity pumping.Due to restrictions on the working environment,the radial dimensions of the submersible motor are limited.Most of the submersible motor is a kind of special squirrel cage asynchronous motor which has the elongated structure and works vertically.As the submersible screw pump can only work effectively at a lower speed,transmission gear must be used,in order to reduce the motor speed to match the needs of low-speed submersible screw pump.Due to the limited space under the well,which led to the design and manufacture reducer become difficult.This increases the cost of the entire production systems,while also increasing the failure rate and maintenance times of the system.To solve this technical problem,a low-speed submersible motor with a novel winding was proposed in this dissertation.Fractional slot concentrated winding was used in the motor.According to the particularity of the structure and arrangement of the windings in this dissertation,12-slot 10-pole submersible motor was used as an example;the main parameters of the stator reactance formulas were corrected.The electromagnetic calculation software for the motor was programmed that combine the VB programming software with the modified formula.Main dimensions scheme of the motor which can meet the requirements was calculated by the software.The two-dimensional model of low-speed submersible motor was established with the finite element analysis software.No-load performance and mechanical properties were analyzed in the case of the transient field,and flux density Fourier decomposition was performed in the motor was running at no load stability.Analysis concluded that the fractional slot concentrated winding can be used in the induction motor to produce a constant rotating magnetic field,but there were some insufficients in the mechanical characteristics of the motor and the spatial distribution of magnetic potential.For insufficiency of low-speed submersible motor with a novel winding proposes an improved low-speed submersible motor with a novel double fractional slot winding.Double fractional slot winding was proposed in this dissertation in order to reduce tooth harmonics and harmonics whose frequency was lower than the main harmonic wave.The two-dimensional model of this motor was established with the finite element analysis software and the magnetic force of the motor was analyzed.The motor has a hard mechanical property and good working property was verified through the motor mechanical properties and performance characteristics to be simulated and analyzed.Since the winding form of the new motor was very different from the conventional motor,the end leakage reactance of the motor was no longer accurately calculated.The end leakage reactance of the motor was calculated using the energy method.Qualitative analysis of different parameters on the end leakage reactance was given.Experimental prototype was made and the type experiment was carried out to verify the correctness of the theory.The experimental results were compared with the simulation results;the correctness of the design theory was validated analytical results.Increasing the number of poles of the motor was achieved by the motor without increasing the original geometry.Motor speed was dropped,submersible motor direct drive submersible screw pump running efficiently hopefully be realized.Meanwhile,a new direction for optimization design of submersible motors is presented,the further study of special motor design and analysis is laid the foundation.
