Processing of rice mainly consist of cleaning,husking,paddy separating,milling of brown rice,screening of rice,polishing,rice color sorting,packaging,etc.There into milling of brown rice,screening of rice and packaging are the most segment in the hold processing.Milling of brown rice is the main influencing factors on head rice yield and milled rice qualities,Polishing is the main influencing factors on rice quality,Packaging is the main influencing factors on rice storage quality.Hence,it's very significant for the rice processing to study on the technology of.milling of brown rice,screening of rice and packaging.1.Milling of brown rice: In the research,the initial moisture,moisture added and conditioning time was as conditioning parameters.The milling energy consumption and head rice yield was as experimental indexes.The method of quadratic orthogonal rotation combination test design was applied.According to the result of experiment conduct research.The range of the better moisture conditioning parameters for the low moisture brown rice was offered..The initial moisture was 14.9%~15.0%,moisture added was 1.48% and moisture conditioning time was 90 min.The head rice yield was raised about 19.12%,the energy consumption was declined about 45.64%.According to the result of experiment study the best result of conduct ressarch.The head rice yield was 64.68%,the power consumption reduce 800~1000 degree.2.Polishing:Do optimization experimentation to solve the question of the poor gloss and the high broken rice rates in the processing.The experiment through water of higher temperature added to the rice polishing to achieve the purpose of reducing the broken rice rates and improving white rice appearacnce quality.The moisture added,temperature of water and polishing times was as conditioning parameters,the broken rice rates was as experimental indexes.The method of quadratic orthogonal rotation combination test design was applied and get the optimum polishing process.The range of the better polishing process was offered.The temperature of water was 58 ?~60 ?,moisture added was 7.7 L/h and polishing times was 2.The broken rice rates was reduced to 4.18%.According to the result of experiment study the best result of conduct ressarch,the broken rice rates was reduced to 5.06% and white rice appearance quality is obviously improved.3.Packaging:With the above method processing of white rice as materials,Respectively using gas packaging,vacuum packaging and air packaging three methods to rice in storage test last 150 days.In the air packaging,different of temperature,moisture content and gas ratio was as conditioning parameters.Under different storage conditions,research the rice change of water content,reducing sugar content,fatty acid content,catalase activity of rice,insoluble amylose content.Through these test results,get the optimum Packaging process.In the process of atmosphere storage,water content,starch content and catalase activity of rice,does not change significantly.Reducing sugar content and fatty acid content change obviously when under the condition of high temperature and high water content.When the carbon dioxide concentration and nitrogen concentration is the same,Atmosphere storage can effectively prevent the deterioration of rice.The range of the better atmosphere storage process was offered.The carbon dioxide concentration and nitrogen concentration is the same,storage temperature was 0 ?~4 ?and water storage was 14.5%.Through these test results,get the best rice quality.
