Iin the present paper,a series of ecological experimentsof toxicological effect of three typical nanometer oxidesincluding Nano-SiO2,Nano-ZnO and Nano-Fe2O3 on two different reproductive modes of Artemiawere carried out,to discussthe response of Arfemia population.The results are as follows:1.Acute toxic effects of Artemia of three types of nano-oxidesToxicity of three typical nano-oxides to Artemia population were studied through chronic toxicity experiment.The results represented that LC50 of three types of nano oxides order was Nano-ZnO<Nano-SiO2<Nano-Fe2O3 that means Nano-ZnO toxicity is the strongest,the LC50 of GSL was 2.042 mg/mL,the LC50 of GSL was 2.0175 mg/mL;Nano-SiO2 toxicity followed,the LC50 for GSL was 21.636 mg/mL and the LC50 for BH was 20.816 mg/mL;Nano-Fe2O3 toxicity was the weakest,the LC50 for GSL was 63.848 mg/mL while the LC50 for GSL was 57.465 mg/mL.According to the grading standards of aquatic toxicity,the cute toxicity grading ofNano-ZnO to Artemia wasin a high toxicity,however the cute toxicity grading ofNano-SiO2 and Nano-Fe2O3 to Artemia belongs to a lower toxicity classification,Therefore the acute toxicity results of Artemia nauplii can be used as an indicator of Nano-ZnO indication of toxicity,but as Nano-SiO2 and Nano-Fe2O3 indication of toxicity indicators does not make sense.Toxic effects of three types of nano-oxides on two different modes of reproduction of Artemia showed that,the toxic effect of three types of nano-oxides on parthenogenesisArtemia named BH was more serious than sexual reproduction of Artemia named GSL.Due to the genetic characteristics of parthenogenesis Artemia is relatively simple,while the genetic of sexual reproduction Artemia is diversified,that makes sexual reproduction Artemia have more advantage in adapting to harsh environment,so BH compared with GSL had higher sensitivity of nano-oxide.2.Mechanism of three types of nano-oxides on two different modes of reproduction of Artemia.Results of three types of nano-oxide treated Artemia for 24h and 48h,all contributed to Artemia nauplii CAT activity decreased,activity of GSH decreased,and inhibits the activity of SOD,content of MDA increased,for CAT,GSH,SOD these three indicators of activity BH inhibition greater than GSL,for increased MDA content indicators BH was greater than the increased amount of GSL,whichshowedthe experiment that Nano-ZnO,Nano-SiO2 and Nano-Fe2O3 treated Artemiahad resulted in oxidative damage and even death,and the degree of oxidative damage on Parthenogenesis BH is greater than Sexual reproduction GSL in the same process of concentration.It Also reflects that the sexual reproduction of Artemia has advantages in adapting to harsh environments,that is to say BH compared with GSL had higher sensitivity of nano-oxide.The effects of threetypes of nano-oxides on two different modes of reproduction of Artemia.and the physiologicalresponse were discussed in this thesis,the aboveresults provide the basis for futher understanding of the ecological effects of nano-oxides on the marineorganisms.
