QuEChERS is a novel sample preparation technique,which is quick,easy,cheap,effective,rugged and safe.A good number of works have been reported about the determination of organic and inorganic compounds in different matrices since its introduction in 2003.The original research object of this method is fruit,vegetables and other agricultural products,the compositions of these matrices are relatively simple,and the good results can been achieved by using the traditional QuEChERS method.However,with the continuous development of QuEChERS method,the standard sample preparation methods have been unable to meet the requirements of complex matrices(such as organic fertilizer,feed,etc.).In this paper,the complex matrices were extracted and purified by using QuEChERS technology combined with different improvement methods and analyzed by ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.A brief description was given as follows:(1)A simply overview about the principles,improvements and application of QuEChERS were introduced;Besides,the development of veterinary drugs and mycotoxins was also illustrated.(2)A novel method of QuEChERS combined with column purification pretreatment method was proposed for determination of 46 antibiotics in organic fertilizer coupled with ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS).The effects of 4 ways of improvment on the extraction of antibiotics were investigated,and the best pretreatment method was determined.The results of the analysis revealed that this method can meet the requirements for determinating three kinds of antibiotics at the same time and it was applicable for the detection of actual organic fertilizer samples.(3)With fluoroquinolone antibiotics as the research object,combined the QuEChERS method with immune colloidal gold rapid detection reagent plate,established a rapid screening method for the determination of fluoroquinolones residues in organic fertilizer samples.On the basis of the QuEChERS method,the parameters such as the type and pH value of the extract solution,the type and dosage of the adsorbent were optimized.The results showed that this method is simple,fast,environmentally friendly,and do not need special instrument.Moreover,it is able to deal with the samples and get results immediately.This method also provided certain technical support for the rapid screening of fluoroquinolones residues in positive samples.(4)A novel method of QuEChERS combined with ultrahigh performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS)was proposed for determination of thirteen mycotoxins in feed.In this section,the functional magnetic materials were synthesized and applied to the QuEChERS method,and the experimental cost was reduced by recycling.The optimum extraction conditions were determined through the optimization of the factors such as the extraction solvent and magnetic adsorbent.This method can quickly and conveniently complete the pre-treatment process,and showed satisfactory results for rapid determination of mycotoxins in actual feed samples.It also provided scientific basis for the quality control of feed industry.
