Photocatalytic oxidation,which use sunlight to accelerate the oxidation-reduction reaction,looking for a high photocatalytic activity of the catalyst is essential,therefore,more and more researchers has payed attention to the synthesis?001?a highly active facet anatase TiO2 crystal.TiO2 fast electron/hole recombination,however,and low utilization rate of the sun,but have not fundamentally solved.Therefore,in urgent need of TiO2 modified to overcome this obstacle.Therefore,the exposed?001?crystal plane of TiO2 combined with CuO,graphene,synthesis of new ternary composite photocatalyst and will applie to the actual industrial wastewater treatment is necessary.Here,a new visible light-responsive GR-CuO/TiO2 photocatalyst was successfully synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method.The GR-C/TiO2 of structural properties,characterization and photocatalytic activity was investigated by various chemical analyses,X-ray,SEM,TEM,UV-vis and PL,confirmed that the synthesis of samples for anatase titanium dioxide?001?surface,and the visible light response range is expanding,the titanium dioxide compound also is able to reduce risk of electrons and holes.In addition,through the experiment of degradation of methylene blue to compare the photocatalytic of GR-CuO/TiO2,CuO/TiO2 pure the TiO2,and P25,The photocatalysis experiment was demonstrates that photocatalysis of GR-CuO/TiO2 was 10 times higher than the P25,and eventually GR-CuO/TiO2 used was attributed to degradation of Pharmaceutical wastewater?In order to make the new photocatalyst to display its real value to treat the pharmaceutical wastewater treatment,that the best reaction condition:the catalyst dosage lg/L,initial COD of wastewater 670 mg/L,pH=5.98,moreover,the study found that the COD degradation efficient was close to under the mercury lamp irradiation after 1 h,2 h under xenon lamp exposure,and mercury lamp under continuous illumination.That might be due to the refractory organic matter decomposition in mercury lamp irradiation of easily degradable organic matter,meantime,it made some enlightenment to the practical industrial application,such as mercury lamp light at night,and visible light irradiation during the day,make full use of resources.
