The highly ordered and uniform TiO2 nanotube arrays were fabricated by anodic oxidation of titanium foil and the optimum conditions have been investigated.The as-prepared TiO2 nanotube film was then crystallized and the TiO2 nanotube array films are from amorphous structure to anatase TiO2 with the nanotube array is still intact.In this paper we modify the TiO2 nanotube array films.Composite TiO2 nanotube arrays with deposition of ?-FeOOH and Cu2O nanoparticles by hydrothermal treatment and solvothermal method separately.Meanwhile TiO2 nanotube array films surface morphology,surface structure,crystal structure and absorbtion of ultraviolet-visible lights have been detected and analyzed by the SEM?XRD?EDS and Uv-vis.The main points could be summarized as follows:?1?The highly ordered and uniform TiO2 nanotube arrays film were fabricated by anodic oxidation of titanium foil in KF-containing ethylene glycol solution.The as-prepared TiO2 nanotube arrays film was then hydrothermally treated and the results have shown that a transition from amorphous structure to anatase Ti02 can be found after hydrothermal treatment even for short duration?e.g.3h?at relatively low temperature?e.g.120??.The crystallization degree increases with the treatment temperature or duration.Our results also showed that the crystallization process of nanotube walls during hydrothermal treatment may lead to a decrease in inner diameter of the nanotubes and even a collapse of tubular structure may be observed when the crystallization degree is high.?2??-FeOOH nanorods incorporated Ti02 nanotube arrays ordered compound films are fabricated by hydrothermal treatment method in FeCl3 and CTAB?as surface active agent?mixed solution for the first time.Compared with pure TiO2 nanotube arrays film ?-FeOOH nanorods incorporated TiO2 nanotube arrays ordered compound films are fabricated lfim's spectral band absorption red shifts from ultraviolet region band to visible light region,and its forbidden gap is about 2.04ev.?3?Cu2O nano particles incorporated TiO2 nanotube arrays ordered compound films are fabricated in the mixed solution about 30ml ethylene glycol and 10ml DMF by solvothermal method for the first time.These nano particles are on the mouth and wall of nanotube but not to cover the nano tube.The compound film's tubular structure is highly ordered.Minewhile the redshift of Cu2O nano particles incorporated Ti02 nanotube arrays compound flim is obvious.And the extent of the red shifts increase with the increasing of CuSO4's contents.
