Vibration casting can enhance the mechanical properties of aluminum alloy products,improve its solidification structure,and reduce its casting defects.However,the high-frequency vibration casting research in domestic is still in its infancy,there are few literatures on some important parts for high-frequency vibration technology research.Therefore,this paper takes the ZL108 aluminum alloy piston as the research object,then,paper proceed the high-frequency vibration process of theoretical research and experimental analysis,the study has a certain theoretical and practical application value.The work and achievements of this paper mainly are as follows:1.According to the metal solidification theory of thermodynamics and kinetics,paper studied the high-frequency vibration on the influence of metal solidification,and pointed out that the high frequency vibration can increase the melt undercooling degree;Based on dendrite crushing theory,the paper established a dendrite broken theoretical model of high-frequency vibration casting;According to shrinkage forming conditions,paper proved high-frequency vibration casting can reduce the casting defects.2.Paper analyzed the aluminum alloy piston structure and performance requirements,and summarized the main problems of the process in aluminum alloy piston forming.Then paper made ZL108 aluminum alloy piston numerical simulation with the professional casting analysis software Procast,and used orthogonal test positive to obtain the optimal combination of pouring process parameters(the pouring temperature of 700?,the casting speed of 0.3kg/s and the mold temperature of 150?).3.The high-frequency vibration casting program was based on orthogonal test,paper designed dedicated mold of 6110 aluminum alloy pistons,analyzed the principle of vibration and the structure of high-frequency vibration device.According to a high-frequency vibration device and dedicated mold,paper builds an experimental device.4.Paper proceeded high-frequency vibration Casting test,and analyzed the differences of mechanical properties,solidification organization and casting defects between high-frequency vibration casting and the ordinary casting.Paper used orthogonal experiment method to optimize the process parameters of the high-frequency vibration casting,draw the optimal combination of oscillation parameters(the vibration amplitude of 40?m,the vibration frequency of 800Hz,the start-up time for 5s,vibration time 25s).In this paper,high-frequency vibration casting theoretical and experimental analysis provide the basis for the process parameters optimization development of ZL108 aluminum alloy piston casting,and provide a reference of product development by the high-frequency vibration casting technology.
